Meet Nicole …
Nicole Porterfield, from Edinburgh, had simply become engaged to her boyfriend of 36 months, Dave, whenever she had been clinically determined to have breast cancer tumors in 2012, aged just 26 december. Whenever she heard bout her diagnosis it arrived as a large surprise as well as a period whenever she needs to have been preparing on her wedding.
“ it absolutely was our 3rd anniversary and Dave had prepared a three-course meal in our flat, ” says Nicole. “ I experienced no concept but he had purchased me personally plants, which he never ever does, therefore I thought he had been as much as som e thing! ”
Juggling therapy with wedding preparation
Nicole juggled radiotherapy that is gruelling chemotherapy using the wedding plans, all using the great help from her fianc e. Day Nicole watched a lot of her friends walk down the aisle during this time, which spurred her on even more to have her special.
