The Ghost Bride is just a Netflix show that is original in 1890s Colonial Malacca. In line with the novel of this title that is same the Malaysian/Taiwanese manufacturing follows a Malaysian Chinese woman, Li Lan (Huang Peijia), as she navigates love and a coerced visit to the underworld. With that small primer straightened out, i’ll just tell this point blank: We never have browse the novel, if they’re already doing the best they can with the source material, but the Netflix adaptation reads like a mind-numbing rom-com with a Mary Sue lead entangled in a love square so I don’t know.
